This year, forty-five sessions will take place over four consecutive weeks and include keynotes, technical sessions, sponsored featured talks, and workshops organized into these featured tracks: Signal Integrity/Power Integrity on October 5; 5G/Wi-Fi/IoT on October 12; PCB/Interconnect on October 19; and Radar/Automotive/SATCOM on October 26. EDI CON Online 2021, an interactive event that was held every Wednesday in August 2021, provided workshops, technical sessions, and keynote talks for engineers working on RF, microwave, EMC/EMI, signal integrity, and power integrity designs. The event, which held live online sessions that are now available on demand, displayed impressive results for its third year with more than 1131+ unique live attendees and 5516+ total sessions attended to date. As compared to its inaugural year in 2019, the number of attended sessions grew by 14+%.

Participants noted their overall satisfaction with the event. 100% of attendees surveyed said they would attend another EDI CON Online conference, 97% would recommend the event to a friend or colleague, and a combined 99% of attendees rated the sessions as excellent or good.

An attendee who shared feedback stated, “The conferences and the organization are excellent.” And another response, “This year, I thought the presentations were customized to me! Very interesting topics with real experiments and measurements.”

EDI CON Online, an interactive event that was held every Tuesday in October 2020, provided training and keynote sessions for engineers working in RF, microwave, EMC/EMI, signal integrity, and power integrity. The event held live online sessions that are still available to watch on demand, presented notable results with more than 7830+ sessions viewed and 6400+ unique registrants to date.

The 2020 event consisted of 44 speakers, 4 plenary keynote talks, 20 technical sessions, and 16 sponsored workshops. The top three job functions of attendees were Design & Development Engineers, Hardware Engineers, and Academia/Educators. In addition, the global reach of attendees encompassed 52% from North America, 19% from Asia, 15% from Europe, 11% from India, 3% from South America, 2% from Africa, and the remaining were from Australia/Oceana. The overall total of on demand attendees gained 1868+ unique registrants and is expected to continue increasing as time passes. The average workshop attendance has generated 590+ registrants to date.

Event organizers previously announced that EDI CON Online is scheduled to take place every Wednesday in August 2021. As compared to its inaugural year in 2019, the number of attended sessions grew by 45+%.

Participants noted their overall satisfaction with the event. 98% of attendees surveyed said they would attend another EDI CON Online conference, 97% would recommend the event to a colleague, and a combined 97% of attendees rated the sessions as excellent or good.

Online, interactive live event enjoyed a successful inaugural year in 2019.

EDI CON Online, an interactive event held for the first time September 10-12, 2019, has posted impressive results for its inaugural year with more than 4400 sessions attended to date. 97% of attendees surveyed noted they would attend another EDI CON Online, and 97% would also recommend the event to a colleague.

“We are very pleased with the response from the industry,” says Carl Sheffres, publisher of Microwave Journal and Signal Integrity Journal, the publications organizing the event. “Our research indicated that today’s engineers often have conflicts preventing them from attending training or events in person, so we aim to help alleviate these issues with EDI CON Online.”

Attendees who shared their experiences agreed, with one attendee saying “It worked out perfectly for me. Also, the great benefit was the ability to access the presentations after the event.” And another response, “I was very pleased with this event. It was a lot of high-quality presentations, yet I didn’t have to deal with travel, missing work, etc. Thank you!”
