- Why is a PowerPoint deck needed?
- It is needed in order to run the event (if your event is not pre-recorded and submitted as an MP4). The PPT deck is uploaded via our platform (by us). From here, slide-by-slide information can be shared with the audience during your event
- Why do I need to use the EDI CON ONLINE PowerPoint deck template?
- For EDI CON Online branding purposes and consistency throughout the virtual event
- The template must be used if you are presenting a Technical Session. (At a minimum, Workshops and Featured Talks need to use the first and last slide of the template)
- Who do I send my deliverables to & how do I send them?
- *The email system here does not allow for large attachments, so when sending larger amounts of content (i.e. a slide deck, a full-length video, video clips, etc.) please submit a request to us at edicononline@horizonhouse.com and we will give you access to our OneDrive to upload your deliverables. For smaller attachments, please send them to us at edicononline@horizonhouse.com.
- Are there any specific best practices for submitting my slides?
- Yes, please be sure to review our EDI CON Online Slide Design Basics PDF for more details regarding our PowerPoint guidelines prior to submitting your final materials
- What are my pre-recording options?
- You may pre-record your presentation using your own resources (an example of a resource you can use to pre-record= Zoom, PowerPoint)
- The full-length MP4 file of your pre-recorded event should be sent to us by September 18, 2023. Please submit a request to us at edicononline@horizonhouse.com and we will give you access to our OneDrive to upload your MP4.

- Is a practice session available?
- If a practice is needed, it can be scheduled with production – all practice sessions need to be completed by September 22, 2023. (Typically takes 15 minutes.) If the speaker needs to see their slides in the practice, the final deck is needed in place prior. If just a run-through of the platform is needed, the final deck is not due until September 18, 2023 if it isn’t ready at the time of the practice.
- Will my presentation be shared as a resource document to attendees?
- Yes, a PDF version of your slides will be made available for attendees to download (must provide a PDF of your slides to us if you are submitting your presentation as a video)
- When will I receive my leads and how often?
- Sponsors (Platinum/Featured Talk, Track, & Workshop), will receive their initial set of leads each Monday post event. Example: will be sent on Monday, October 9, 2023 for events that took place on Wednesday, October 4th.
- This process will happen for the remaining events and tracks each week thru Monday, October 30, 2023. After this, On Demand reports will be provided in January 2024 and the final set will be delivered in April 2024.
